Liked: The property was clean, that is probably the only positive thing.
Disliked: Overall, I feel misled by the high rating of this property, as I truly don’t understand where it comes from. The location is very inconvenient. Without a car, it takes at least 30 minutes on foot to reach the beach, around 45 minutes to get to the town center, and the return walk is even longer since it’s all uphill. The apartment itself feels more like a place where an elderly couple or long-term resident was living before the season, rather than a typical Airbnb or Booking.com rental. It has no welcoming atmosphere, and for me, it felt quite unsettling. The worst part of the experience was finding a dirty, used dish sponge left in the kitchen. It might have been intended as some kind of “sustainability practice,” but for guests, it simply feels unhygienic and careless. On the positive side, the owner did try to be helpful by providing restaurant recommendations. However, Cala Gonone as a destination turned out to be overly touristy, with generally low quality in food and service. It’s worth visiting for a day trip to see Cala Luna, but for staying overnight or experiencing authentic Sardinian life, I would strongly recommend choosing Dorgali instead—for both accommodation and dining.

Liked: Beautiful place! Very happy we’ve got a chance to stay in this property. It was a great choice and experience! House is sparkling clean, we had everything for a comfortable stay - washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen ware, free parking. Also there is a beautiful patio where you can have a coffee or breakfast.
