  Our room had a great view and the hotel is nice; probably the best one in the area

  Liked: The staff was wonderful! Pool is great and the view is fantastic! Hotel is clean and nice and breakfast was good.

  Disliked: The bed we had was VERY hard and uncomfortable for us.

  Liked: The receptionists were all very nice and attentive. They gave us lots of helpful information about the area and the boat trips.

  Disliked: Despite its 4-star rating, the hotel feels more like a 3-star property minus. The room is basic, the walk-in shower is tiny, and there are no slippers or bathrobes. Breakfast was the worst we had during our five-week trip across several countries, with very limited choices and mediocre quality. The hotel charges €3 for a pool towel and another €3 every time you want to change it. We have never encountered such a policy at any other hotel during our trip. Parking also costs €15 per day, more than at any other hotel we stayed at. The location is inconvenient: the marina, where boats depart for the beaches, is 1.4 km away, with an uphill walk on the return. The shuttle runs only four times a day, making trips to the beaches and dinners in town difficult to plan.

  Perfect getaway

  Liked: This is a beautiful area, the people are lovely the swimming pool was fantastic. Nearby beaches are wonderful, many short boat trips as long as all day ones, lots of choice of restaurants. Perfect place for a holiday with a nearby lovely town.

  Disliked: There is a very huge hill to climb to get back to the hotel, but that is why it has such great views. A local bus service for evenings would be fantastic. The only other thing was (not at the hotel) but in the area was dog poop, just left and not cleared up.

  Beautiful room and ideal location for Cala Gogone

  Liked: Our room was excellent, really big and we loved the jacuzzi Bath! Great swimming pool too and it was nice having a free shuttle bus available.

  Disliked: I asked for something special to be done for our anniversary in our room, ie Prosecco or flowers in the room but was just given a price list for items…a complimentary gift would have been nice instead as the room was expensive.

  Lovely hotel in a brilliant town, with great views and facilities!

  Liked: The view was insane - we weren’t expecting a sea view and we were blown away by the view! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was huge! The pool was fantastic and a welcome break from beach hopping - all the staff were great, the shuttle was helpful and the parking gave peace of mind.

  Disliked: Be aware the hotel is high up so whilst it’s only a km, it’s all up hill when walking back which you’ll have to do at night as both the town and hotel shuttles stop early in the evening. The parking was also €15/night and a very tight fit.

  All round lovely hotel

  Liked: We loved this hotel. It was my husbands birthday when we arrived and there was a bottle of Prosecco in an ice bucket when we checked in. The room was immaculate, the bathroom was spotless. Bed was so comfortable. Loved the pool area. The pool was huge and plenty of really good quality sun loungers. The pool bar was very reasonable and had a good menu. Breakfast was very good as well. There is also parking available. It’s not too far from the sea, a 15 minute leisurely walk or you can take advantage of the free shuttle which we did on the way back to the hotel. A special mention to all the staff. They were all so friendly and helpful
