  I wouldn't stay here again

  Liked: Location

  Disliked: Bed was uncomfortable, the mattress squeaked, no air con, no light in bedroom only a lamp, hot water run out and very small space. The cover photo does not reflect the view, there was no Carousel. The town clock was loud and chimed every 15 min. Too noisy to keep windows open at night making it very stuffy and hot without air. There were ceiling fans but they didn't do much.

  Perfect Camogli beach stay

  Liked: Fantastic location and really responsive owner. You can’t beat the location and the stairs were minimal.

  Disliked: It is very hot in August but the owner bought over a new fan that helped. Air-condition is needed for the price paid.

  Exceptional

  Liked: My daughter and I stayed in 171 Via Garibaldi for a week and we absolutely loved it. It is basic yet perfect - clean and comfortable and the best location! You’re literally a few steps from the sea. It can be loud with the bells and the seagulls and the restaurant below but actually it didn’t bother us at all - it just added to its charm. I will definitely come back one day. The keys are easy once you’ve got the knack but we did spend 15 minutes wrestling with them on arrival! The hosts are pretty quick to respond and although we didn’t meet them their manner was warm and helpful. Our favourite gelato was at ‘Latteria 1978’ at the far end of the harbour. The friendliest restaurant was to the left of La Patchanka - if you’re looking at the harbour - can’t remember the name! Lovely service and food! Fabulous tiramisu!
