  Liked: Roberto was waiting for us a the door of the property, parking onsite is provided. The appartment is well appointed and clean. The views from the balcony is what you dream of... Bed is comfortable and Kitchen has everything you need. There was coffee, water, milk and juice waiting for us in the fridge and also a large choice of biscuits for breakfeast

  Disliked: Only the fact that in October you cannot use the Air conditioning either for heating or cooling due to local council rules.. We had a fan in tthe car so it wasn't a problem.

  Liked: We stayed for only one night, but everything was perfect! The house has an incredible view and is beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The location is also very convenient, there’s a bus stop practically right next to the house, with buses going directly to the city center. This made getting around easy, and we had no trouble reaching the center at all. Even though our stay was short, we had a wonderful experience and would happily come back!

  A million dollar view!

  Liked: The view from the terrace is spectacular! Very convenient bus stop, store and restaurant/bar. The studio, although small has everything one would need.

  Disliked: That the owners park right outside the window which makes privacy an issue. We were too aware of their coming and going. I would recommend that they move their parking spots to another part of the property.

  A lovely place to stay with a fine host and beautiful views of Camogli and the Liguria cost day and night

  Liked: The host, Roberto, was very friendly, welcoming, helpful, and there for any need whatsoever. The place is easy to get to by public bus and a short walk, it is about a 15 minute ride from the train station down the hill in Camogli. It is also easy to walk downhill from the place to Camogli, and is very close to the bus stop at Ruta to get to Camogli, Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino and more. The studio apartment had plenty of room for two people, was super clean, very well appointed and equipped, comfortable, quiet, private and secure, and of good value. It is near to a handful of local shops in Ruta including grocery, baker, butcher, pharmacy, and a very good restaurant. Casa Portofino is the only place we stayed on our journey that supplied coffee, tea and good, basic foods for breakfast and dinner, which makes this excellent place exceptional, easily one of the top 3 on our journey.

  Disliked: The only improvements suggested, as for most other lodgings, is an bathroom exhaust fan and more hooks or bars to hang towels and clothing. Note, government regulations require having no heat on this time of year but our host was able to make things comfortable nonetheless with extra blankets etc.
