Exceptional
Liked: Convenient location, close to the lively city centre, restaurants, and bars. Parking is available near the room. The sea is only a 5-minute drive away.
Disliked: Poor sound insulation — you can hear everything from the neighbouring room, making it feel as if you are sharing the same room with someone else. For a one-week stay for two people, only one roll of toilet paper was provided, with no shower gel and no kitchen knife. We only received a knife and two additional rolls of toilet paper after specifically asking for them. The bed was not very comfortable, especially the pillows. Also, the air conditioner display is extremely bright at night — bright enough that you could practically read a book by its light.
Liked: Good location, quiet at night, kind people who greeted us at the door and helped with carrying the bags. Safe at night and clean. Would definitely recommend. No major supermarkets in the close area, but 15 min walk to larger Deco.

Liked: A clean,cosy apartment,just a few steps away from the sea and the restaurants and bars,yet very quiet and comfortable.
Liked: "One of the most beautiful accommodations we have ever stayed in. It was clean, modern, and perfectly located—close to the city center and just a stone's throw from the sea. We especially appreciated that it was tucked away in a quiet area rather than on a busy street. The apartment had everything we needed. Our host, Nino, met us right on time, guided us to the place, and gave us excellent advice on parking and local sights. This stay truly completed our authentic Sicilian experience. Highly recommended!"
Disliked: "The nearest grocery store wasn't exactly nearby, and we missed having a sharp kitchen knife, as only cutlery knives were available (though the kitchen was otherwise fully equipped)."
Liked: Location near the center
Mediocre
Liked: The location was ideal for Castellamare. Close to the beach, local shops and to lots of restaurants. The room had a fully equipped kitchen which was appreciated and also came with basic kitchen condiments and coffee. Quick answers from the host to messages and concerns we had. WiFi worked fast, and check in/out was easy.
Disliked: The shower was not usable for a regular day let alone after a beach day - both pressure and heat didn’t work on arrival. The owner came to fix the heat but the pressure was like a weak hose. We came in April and although it had some heat with the air con, the room itself was freezing and it only had a thin sheet on the bedding. We came on a bank holiday and don’t speak Italian and the host sent his parents who only spoke Italian to let us in, which was fine, but also upon our issues with the shower to which they couldn’t understand nor fix and had to call for the host anyways.
