  Highly recommend

  Liked: Fresh, bright room with gorgeous view of the marina. Castellated del Golfo is a charming town and this room was well placed to explore the town and area. Early checkin was easily arranged and reception staff gave brilliant tips for local beaches. Would definately stay here again.

  Liked: First of all, I would like to point out that not everything described here was within the hotel’s control, and the staff did their best trying to resolve our concerns. Nevertheless, as a guest, I would have liked to know about these issues before booking.

  Disliked: We chose the second-floor apartment specifically because of its large terrace with a view. However, during our three-day stay, we were unable to use it even once and kept the terrace door closed all the time. Directly in front of the terrace there are bunch of air-conditioning units and the restaurant’s extractor vents. As a result, there is constant noise and a strong smell of food, making it feel as though you are sitting in the restaurant’s kitchen with fried seafood. The air conditioning in our apartment was also not working on the first night. With the door closed, the room was hot and stuffy, while opening it let in the smells and noise from the restaurant. The air conditioning was repaired the following day.
