Fabulous
So easy to enjoy this great hotel and romantic location
Liked: great facilities, splendid breakfasts, delicious food and wine, wonderful access to pool and the sea, beautiful view from room - staff very friendly and helpful
Disliked: menu didn't change for lunch/dinner during our 3 night stay
A beautiful beach and lovely location, but a disappointing room that did not match what I had booked
Liked: The beautiful beach, the location and the restaurant terrace were the highlights of our stay. The hotel has direct access to the beach, although reaching it involves going down a lot of stairs. This was fine for us but could be difficult for guests with limited mobility. Wearing water shoes made it easier to get in and out of the sea.
Disliked: I had booked a double room with a sea view. The photos showed modern, renovated rooms with balconies, so I was very disappointed to be given an unrenovated family suite with old furniture instead. It consisted of two smaller rooms, leaving us with an extra room we didn’t need and a smaller main bedroom. When I complained, the only alternative offered was a renovated room resembling a beach chalet, far from the main building. It was dark inside and, being on the ground floor, offered little privacy unless we kept the curtains closed. We also had to use the balcony door to enter and leave the room. Breakfast was very ordinary, and the lobby was unappealing. There was nothing particularly special about the hotel itself; it felt like we were mainly paying for the location. Overall, the room was a real disappointment compared with what I had booked and expected from the photos.
Overpriced and overrated. Underwhelming
Liked: Amazing view and water access
Disliked: The volcano suite must have been decorated by someone’s relative. Atrocious. And there was a mouse. And the food was mediocre
For this price, expect better customer service
Liked: Good view from terrace, some staff very pleasant
Disliked: Some staff unhelpful, especially pool and beach staff. In general, very regimented eg we were moved from our tables at 10:30am because they had to set the table for lunch. No cushions for verandah chairs during 7pm evening drinks, because they had to be packed away at a certain time. Hotel routines more important than guest experience.
A Dream
Liked: The location of the hotel has a spectacular view, the beach area was one of the best. The Breakfast had a wide variety, excellent. The Dinner menu had a variety of choices, of the ones I chose, they were all excellent. The Staff: very polite and accommodating. Very Large Pool area.
Disliked: The room accommodation was not large however well set up considering the amount of luggage I had with me.I found the bed was not as comfortable as I expected but it was still okay. I had my laptop (work purposes) and found there was not enough lighting near the desk area.
Parking is easy, good location
Liked: Dinner and breakfast both 5 star Sunrise photo is possible Away from the busy old town It’s good if u drive
Disliked: My room the cheaper one not is average condition
