Exceptional
Liked: The hotel was simple but very comfortable and it was on the water and right in the heart of the old town of Cefalu. The location could not have been better. The highlights were the dock on which you could go and have a cocktail in the evening to watch the sun set. It was charming and the staff were so friendly. Also, the staff at breakfast could not have been more accommodating. I don't eat eggs or gluten and yet each morning they made something delicious that I could eat. Other highlights included a wonderful Sicilian cooking class and a boat trip. All in all Cefalu was our favourite place.
Disliked: The scent that the hotel sprayed in the bedrooms. It smelt very strong and artificial but we opened the windows and it quickly dissipated.
Liked: Beautiful, convenient location. Very scenic and clean. Great breakfast.
An Absolute Gem
Liked: In our 6 weeks touring around Italy, this was a perfect location to end such a memorable trip. We were lucky to secure the last room available, and while it wasn't sea-facing, it was a very comfortable room with renovated modern fixtures and an extremely comfortable bed. Andrea and the rest of the team made us feel so welcome. As others have alluded to, breakfast was more than adequate with a change-up each day for variety.

Historic district, water front
Liked: Located right on the water in the heart of the historic district. Super friendly staff, and good breakfast. Our room looked at the water. Some rooms are smaller with street views. 5-10 minutes walk to beach and sites.
