  Liked: Perfect location, quiet street and spacious place. Lovely terrace with good views and local deer visitors.

  Fool me once, shame on you!

  Liked: Great location, magnificent panorama from the balcony. This comes at a price, steep uphill walking to the chalet. Since there is no section for generic opinion, I put it here... The host (Gruppo Stay) cleverly just put the pro's here on the Booking.com and 'left out' the con's. This is a chalet with 4 separate condos, 1: A semi-basement (offered as ground floor apartment), 2: half-attic (offered as the upstairs apartment); 3: a full floor privately owned condo, not available for renting (this is the real ground floor one), 4: privately owned, half-attic smaller condo, next to the nr2 apartment (not available for renting). The pictures are showing the reality, from like 7 years ago or even more, when the host got hands on these apartments. Overall, this is a condo from around 1970-1980, tiles, floors, furnitures, all the interior are like 40-50 years old. If you like retro and some time travel, then this on is for you. You can relive an upper-middle class family's holidays in their holiday-home. No renovation had happened since then. Some complained items were managed/resolved. There were hair dryer, a newer washing machine, dishwasher in the kitchen, toiletries and enough toilet papers. All the other complaints are true: slow internet (password is on the back of the router), worn furnitures, 'old' smell in the apartment.

  Disliked: The middle condo (nr3, see above) is being remodeled completely, the loudest part of the work may finish soon, but be aware before you book here. When we were there, the internal walls were already gone (you can read in one of the reviews the jackhammer noise, so here's your answer), but the windows were still there. The workers (contractors) did not start loud works before 8 am, but after that... a lot of hammering and bangs when they were removing the old windows. So between 8am and 5pm we could witness the remodeling works. These construction works have never been mentioned by the host, and it was kind of impossible to stay in our apartment during the daytime. I'll make an official complaint to Booking.com and dispute the overall fee for the accommodation. This is a milk-cow for the host, with the bare minimum effort on investing anything to improve the quality. Apart from the construction works, this is a very old and worn condo. Should not be available for renting.

  Great location with stunning views

  Liked: The location of the property is great with only a 10-15min walk in to central Cortina. The view of the mountains is awesome. Wished we had more time here to explore further.

  Disliked: Having to pick up/drop off the house keys in the central part of town which has vey limited parking.

  Could and should have been a lot better

  Liked: Location was good and Cortina is a nice town.

  Disliked: Kettle was dangerous but they replaced it. No cork screw or wine glasses. Property was tired and needed an upgrade based on what we paid. The smell of weed from next door was off putting and the property on the floor above was being renovated so workers started at 8am drilling and moving materials about - not conducive for a relaxed stay.
