  Amazing Courmayeur stay

  Liked: This is a hidden gem of a place so charmingly decorated.. Very clean & comfortable for 4 people. Excellent location and within walking, to public transportation, etc. Great communication with the owner, and she was very prompt in returning our messages.

  Disliked: *The key situation could be improved for safety reasons. *Suggest: a tea pot could be used. *A fact sheet would be very helpful and useful for visitors visiting Courmayeur for information on Courmayeur. & Instructions to appliances need to be noted for foreigners how to use.

  My family and I have travelled the world and have never had such a disappointing experience. Very sad!

  Liked: The location of the property was great!

  Disliked: It was on the top floor of the building. No elevator. Two long flights of stairs to carry up luggage. The pictures make it seem MUCH bigger. It is super small. The room with the bunk beds, two people cannot pass through the room side by side. The stairs to the loft are super narrow and you risk hitting your head on the beams above to get up the stairs. You cannot stand up in the loft so you have to crawl to the bed or duck significantly and uncomfortably. You cannot get out the front door of the building without having the key which you only get one. You are locked in once you are inside. It is absolutely a fire hazard and very dangerous. It was very expensive. $2200 for two nights for 2 adults and one child. I asked the owners if I could bring my other daughter for one night and they said I had to pay an extra 120 Euro per night for the tiniest bed. The reservation said all taxes included and the owners asked me to leave taxes on the table for my stay. We only stayed one night because the loft was like a sauna even though we turned off the heat in January. Guess the heat rises from the other units. The owners also do not take care of your trash for such a high price. They make you walk up the street and throw out your trash and separate your recycling upon departure. When we expressed our concerns and need to leave they still insisted we pay all taxes and the extra for our daughter which we did. My family and I have travelled the world. We have never had such a disappointing experience.
