Exceptional
Liked: Great breakfast, great room. Great parking.
Liked: It was a nice old mountain hotel very close to center of village. The staff were pleasant and breakfast was good.
Disliked: Unfortunately we had a bad experience with the room, as soon as we entered we noticed a very strong smell, especially in the bathroom. I thought this was from a cleansing product and as we were late we just left our bags and went to see the village and find a restaurant for our evening meal. However when we returned we realized the smell was not decreasing but emanating into the bedroom too. We woke up during the night because there were flying insects in the bed and by morning i had several bites on my leg. We came to the conclusion that the strong cleansing smell was probably disinfectant to get rid of these insects. I complained at the desk and was told i should have complained the evening before and ask for a different room but when we realized how bad the situation was it was too late to do that. We did not receive an apology which upset me as personally I think a room in that condition should not be made available for guests. I’m sorry to leave this bad review as everything else was fine.
Liked: Good location, very comfortable room. The hotel provided treats and a bowl for our dog.
Disliked: Everything was perfect
We will come back to the hotel to spend more time in the area
Liked: The hotel location allowed us visit several places with ease including the Pointe Helbronner by a cable car. The staff in the hotel was very friendly and what was important for us that our dog was accepted and even towel, bowles and other supprises for him were awaiting us in the room.
Disliked: Unfortunately our schedule allowed us to sty only 2 days.
Quick stop at the thermal baths and then back on the road
Liked: Close to the QC Thermal spas. Easy bus access to Courmayeur. Well-kept family property.
Disliked: During warm weather, ask for a garden room. My room was on the road and the traffic made it hard to sleep with an open window.
Liked: Staff very friendly. Lovely garden by the river. Would definitely stay here again. Great location.
