Beautiful escape into nature
Liked: The house is more beautiful in real life than in the photos. It’s very clean, bright and spacious with many large windows with open views. It’s designed with much thought and care, a charming combination of modern conveniences and original fixtures, with a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The surrounding area is incredibly beautiful and peaceful especially in the morning light. It offers the perfect escape into nature, yet within 30 minute it’s possible to walk along a pretty route to Greve for cafes, supermarkets and restaurants or to Montefiorelle. Valentina is a wonderful host, discrete, generous and welcoming. And it’s a joy to see the happy healthy goats, cats, dogs, and chickens.
Liked: We absolutely loved our stay here. The host showed us around their farm and we even got to see how they milk the sheep. The area is beautiful, surrounded by mountains, chickens and cats. The host was so kind and welcoming. I had some really nice conversations with him that inspired me a lot. He also helped me carry my very heavy luggage, which I really appreciated. The house itself is also beautiful and very thoughtfully decorated. The bathroom is big and has a skylight, which was very special. The whole place feels like a little paradise. We liked it so much that we changed our travel plans and stayed one extra day because we really didn’t want to leave. Definitely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed during my life.
Beautiful stay on a working farm
Disliked: The appartement is very comfortable and clean. I loved waking up on the farm, surrounded by nature and the gorgeous view. Congratulations to Valentina and Nicolo for their project - goats, guests and nature live in harmony under their caring stewardship.
A quiet and beautiful place tucked away in the stunning Chianti region
Liked: We loved everything about our stay. The location is stunning, surrounded by the beautiful Chianti countryside. The house is very comfortable. It is warm, clean, well equipped kitchen with delicious drinking tap water, a wonderful clean bathroom with a fab shower. The bed was so comfortable that I slept better than I do at home. You can sit outside and enjoy a coffee with morning visits from the chickens and cats which we loved. The goats are wonderful and we asked to help in the morning which Valentina and Nico kindly agreed to. They were generous with their time and it was a magical experience learning about the goats. They both work so hard and take excellent care of their animals with love and compassion. We hope to return one day as this is a very special find. THANK YOU Valentina and Nico and all the animals.
Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect.
Liked: Incredible place to stay if you seek quietness, nature and comfort. The small house you get has everything you need, we found everything in good condition and clean. But even if you arrive and you don't like something, I can assure you the host will do her best to make sure you have a nice and comfortable stay. They live in a house nearby, and they are incredibly nice and wonderful people. It's always nice when you see someone wants to go the extra mile so you can have a perfect stay.
