  Fastastic apartment, location and host

  Liked: Fantastic apartment, location, and host. We loved everything. Montefioralle must be one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Although it is remote, it's only a 20-minute walk to Greve, and it is one of the best places I've ever visited. We were able to unplug and enjoy. Our host, Matteo, was so helpful and welcoming. He also owns a wine shop that is well worth a visit. We also tried two excellent restaurants nearby during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and light breakfast items, which we did not expect. Thank you, Matteo. We will come back one day and stay longer.

  Disliked: Nothing we didn't dislike. Matteo was a great host, This beautiful place is very much worth a visit. the only thing I could mention on the negative side is that the local cafe is closed during the week. But not an issue when there is a wine shop under your accomodation:-)

  Fantastic location, host, and village!

  Liked: This is an amazing location, The town is quaint and beautiful. Matteo is a great host and offered great advice on things to do and places to go. The restoration on the historical property is great and it all has a very authentic feel. It is not the typical tourist experience. The apartment has everything you need.. The village is just amazing with great views of the tuscan hills. It is peaceful and a great break from the hectic cities. But, close enough to visit Florence for the day. Just a fantastic location in the heart of Chianti.

  Disliked: I really don't have anything negative to say. The shower is a bit small, but not a big deal really. Everything else makes up for it. It's a fantastic place to stay.

  Very good

  Liked: Super place. Very clean, with a lovely balcony. A few choices to eat close by and a quaint place. Ideal for an overnight stay while traveling through.....

  Disliked: Breakfast was adequate but not amazing, perhaps just our preference but it was quite basic....

  Liked: Everything five star castle. Matteo was very generous. He prepered for breakfast croissants, jam, juices, cookies, coffee, tea, etc...

  Gorgeous property and location with good restaurants and an incredible host

  Liked: Matteo was super helpful, friendly and professional. The town had a wine festival on when we arrived so parking was challenging but he helped us to find a space quickly and easily. The property is gorgeous and clean, as is the town itself. The restaurants there are all fantastic and the views stunning. We will absolutely come back

  Stunningly beautiful!

  Liked: During our four weeks stay in an Apartment near Castelfiorentino we had the opportunity to visit the "Chianti Classico Expo in Greve in Chianti", and we decided it was not a good idea to drive back to Tonda in the evening after visiting this wonderful wine fest - very smart decision! Montefioralle is a beautiful medieval small town high above Greve, and the appartment is right in the heart of town in a beautiful centuries old building with lots and lots of character. Matteo is super-friendly and helpful, he runs an Enoteca on the ground floor of the building and that is where you get the keys (if you arrive at daytime - else he will always suggest a perfect solution, he communicates brilliantly). The restaurant he suggested for the evening (La Castellana) provided the best Truffle treatment we had during our entire Tuscanny stay.

  Disliked: A little tough hiking up the road from Greve after the wine fair (but Matteo does warn!), but worth every effort!
