An enchanted location with delightful hosts - you wish you could stay longer
Liked: This is a beautiful old stone farmhouse about 5 km outside of Greve in Chianti - an absolutely gorgeous setting with amazing views over the Tuscan countryside, especially at sunset. We were there fairly late in the year, and the pool was still open. Our room was comfortable and very quiet, and the shower had the most amazing pressure that you never see in North America anymore 🙂 We liked having access to a fridge to store a couple things we bought, and we really, really loved the amazing breakfast they served every morning!! Such a treat. Oh, and they make their own olive oil and wine on the premises and sell them for very reasonable prices. These were all delicious! Our hosts were extremely gracious and delightful people. All around, this was by far our favourite place that we stayed in Italy.
Disliked: This wasn’t really an issue for us, but it quite a ways up a bumpy gravel road, which might make some people nervous? Our compact rental car was able to negotiate it just fine, though.

Liked: We had a wonderfully relaxing stay with Simonetta, who is a warm host that makes you feel at home. The view from the pool is unbeatable and the breakfast very taste, with home-made and local ingredients.
