Fabulous
Rooms in the old section of hotel very poor and dated but the food and restaurant staff at the hotel was just perfect 👌
Liked: Fantastic restaurant staff especially Martina and the dinner and breakfast could not be faulted. Just perfect.
Disliked: Ok we were given a room in the old block over from the main hotel and the room was dated and old and not very clean. We approached one male receptionist in particular and was met with total rudeness dismissive and not accommodating to our concern and request to move rooms. Avoid the adjoining building accommodation as it seems to be used as an overflow and still classed as staying in “the Marad”

Overall, a pleasant and very clean hotel with a beautiful view, but in my opinion, slightly overpriced
Liked: What I liked most was the exceptional cleanliness — everything was spotless and very well maintained. I also really enjoyed the rooftop café with its beautiful view — a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The swimming pool and the hotel grounds were also beautiful and well maintained. Overall, the hotel made a very pleasant impression thanks to its cleanliness, neat surroundings, and lovely views.
Disliked: In my opinion, the price is a bit too high for the level of this hotel. For this price, I expected a little more. The swimming pool is nice, but it is too deep, which is not very convenient, especially when travelling with children. I was also disappointed with the TV in the room. Although it is advertised as a Smart TV, in practice the Smart features are almost unusable, and you are basically limited to Italian TV channels. It would be much better to have access to Netflix, YouTube, or other common streaming services.
Pleasantly surprised, very enjoyable couple of days
Liked: Roof top bar and pool excellent, staff exceptionally helpful and friendly - nothing too much trouble. Actually better than the photos, rooms and bathroom facilities both bigger and nicer than appear.
Disliked: Its location is convenient for tourist areas but the local area is not great for walking out for dinner ( but hotel does excelllent dinner)
Brilliant hotel which is good value for money and ticks every box
Liked: Loved the aircon, how clean the whole hotel was and the pool. Some dishes at the hotel restaurant were exceptional, as were all members of staff who were fantastic.
Disliked: Location for us as it was hard to get around without a car and taxis were extremely expensive! But if you had a car it was a great location for the archaeological sites. Expensive water at the hotel and you are told that it’s best to drink bottled water only. Maybe that’s for the whole of Italy?
