Liked: **A stay we'll never forget — five stars, and we'd give more if we could** From the moment we arrived, the hospitality at reception set the tone for the whole stay: warm, welcoming, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The hotel itself is simply beautiful, and staying inside the castle is something we will never forget. The castle is indescribable — so amazing that words don't really do it justice. A special thank you to Agatha, our server, who looked after us wonderfully at every meal. Her kindness and attentiveness made dining here a real pleasure, and she is a genuine credit to the hotel. The service throughout was world class. We highly recommend Albergo Il Monastero, and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

This is THE place to stay on Iscia!
Liked: We had a room with a balcony and the view was spectacular. The castle grounds were also beautiful. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety and a comfortable dining area. The location was easy to get to and also to get around the island by bus. The staff were very gracious and helpful especially when our ferry off the island was cancelled at the last minute. They helped us make alternative arrangements.
Disliked: The room was comfortable but on the small size and could use more storage space. This is especially true in the bathroom which is very small. The overall experience was great but these are just small, helpful suggestions.
Liked: A unique and.spectacular place, the luxury of seclusion and stillness. Wonderful dinners and a out of the.norm delicious breakfast buffet. Helpful and friendly staff. History meets art in a soulful and very special atmosphere.

Liked: Truly such a beautiful property with the most wonderful staff. The architecture and landscape of the mountain is singular and the breakfast was delightful.
