  We had a lovely stay at hotel Medusa and would stay here again if we come back to Lampedusa

  Liked: The hotel is in a good location. 10 minute walk to via Roma. There are also good restaurant options closer. We had three rooms, two of them had renovated bathrooms and one was a bit more dated. The staff were very kind and friendly and arranged for us a hire car and scooter and airport transfers. Breakfast options were good with a selection of cakes, pastries, fruit, cereals, yogurt, scrambled eggs and bacon.

  Best little place in Lampedusa

  Liked: Love the family environment just very quaint. Augustino was so amazing to us and we had a great tour from him in n his red chariot. He also took the time to see us off and for that we will miss him and the hotel. All the staff treated us like family.

  Disliked: Hidden fees Transfer charged both ways because we booked on booking.com 20 euros for a 7 minute ride twice while they have already people on board the transfer. Fees for everything in the fridge, even water bottles to start the first night Surcharge of 3 euros to exchange my hotel beach towel no one mentioned it just fot

  Exceptional

  Liked: Very well run, very clean, collected and taken back to the airport 10 euros each way. View. Breakfast excellent provided that an Englishman should't expect to find edible scrambled eggs!!! More fool me for forgetting! I'd come back if I could work out if there is a time when restaurants are open but the sun doesn't burn your ears off. As my intention was to visit and explore the lovely island of Lampedusa, it was a great success.

  Disliked: It is hardly the hotel's fault that in March there are no restaurants open for lunch, and only two open for dinner. But I coped! I 'd do better moaning to lonely planet etc to be more accurate in their books. Aragosta opened at the end of my stay and made up for it.
