Liked: Staff very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Heating problem, room cold in the evenings, issue eventually sorted by staff.
Ants in room and bed
Liked: I want to start by saying that the hotel itself is lovely and your staff were excellent throughout my stay. I really appreciated the service and hospitality I received. Unfortunately, for two of the nights, I was staying in a room that had an issue with ants. There were ants in the room, including in the bed, and I was actually bitten as a result. This was extremely unpleasant and significantly affected my comfort and enjoyment of my stay. I appreciate that issues can occasionally occur, However, given that I had to spend two nights in a room affected by ants and was bitten while in bed, and lack of sleep. I emailed to ask for a refund for those nights, but the reply was, they thought was ok as had given me up grade without charging me.
Disliked: Very unpleasant to have 2 nights of no sleep with ants in room and bed, and be bitten. Lack of empathy from hotel to seriously think I was going to pay to change room,
We had a good time but the hotel could definitely have been better
Liked: It’s location
Disliked: Always had to ask for loo roll. Safe didn’t work. Shower not the best. Very mediocre breakfast - same cakes put out everyday. Could have done with a bowl of yoghurt, granola and fruit.

Liked: I was in Lecce for an event, the location of the hotel was perfect for getting to my events. The hotel is very nice, the rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly.
Disliked: This complaint is really of Europe in general. Being from the US we are used to air conditioning that is very cold. You just do not find that in Europe, this was especially true at the hotel, it would not get any cooler than 71f (22c).
