Exceptional
As a summary, it was excellent experience. We will definitely book again next time and we will prefer an apartment with
Liked: I like the property mostly because it was well organized, it was well renovated. The accessibility was excellent
Disliked: There were a couple of days that we didn't have warm water most of the day, and one complete day without warm water from our eight days stay total.
Nice apartment if nothing goes wrong!
Liked: The location was great. Apart from roadworks out the front.
Disliked: We had issues with no lights working in the main living area, we contacted limehome and the said they would rectify it but they never did. We spent 3 nights in the dark. Bathroom door wouldn't slide closed.
Disliked: There was unauthorized entry into our room and the host did nothing to make it right. You also couldn’t lock the door with a deadbolt from the inside so for the rest of our stay, we barricaded the door with a chair. The room was also full of broken furniture and had clearly seen much better days. And the wifi only worked for the first few hours - the host did give us a credit of €10/day for that.
Excellent location, exactly as pictured!
Liked: The location of Limehouse was excellent - a 7 min walk to the Parkejoo parking garage, and just around the corner from the Amphitheater. It is located just a block inside the ZTL, so walking with our luggage was not bad. They were accommodating with our early check in request, which was very helpful. We rented two apartments - One 1-Bedroom, and One 2-bedroom with a terrace. Both were comfortable & we enjoyed our stay! The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the shower (hot water, water pressure, rain shower head) in the primary bedroom of the 2br was AMAZING - best one of our entire trip! The hair dryer was also of excellent quality (powerful & hot!) The air conditioning was excellent - kept us nice & cool. The kitchen facilities were great to have, even though we didn't cook during our stay. There was filtered water in a pitcher in the refrigerator. We did enjoy an aperitivo on the magnificently large terrace, and enjoyed that extra space! For the most part, the building was very quiet - I only noticed footsteps above for a few minutes one evening.
Disliked: The second bathroom in the hallway was only a tub with a handheld attachment. It was really disappointing that it didn't have a fixed/standing shower head to more comfortably take a shower. I did not find an iron in the room. At times, the codes did not work to get in the hallway, but using the unlock button on the website opened them up for us. The hallway door, when opened all the way, stays open and it would have been helpful to know that there is a switch to get the door to release. The entire street in front of the building was under construction during our visit (late-September), and part of the sidewalk was blocked off so you had to go all the way around the building. However, I did not notice any construction actually happening (just machines & a torn up street), and therefore no noise. There was a roof garden, but it was chain locked and inaccessible, and looked very neglected with weeds and debris. The checkout time was very firm, but easy to checkout on the website & leave.
Huge disappointment
Liked: I can not review this location for when we arrived. Access to us was denied. A full excavation of the road and sidewalk in front of the building was taking place. We could not enter. We tried reaching someone from Limehouse, and the response was they did not live in lecce and had no idea this was happening. We were still charged even though we could not enter. Worst experience ever.
Disliked: Definitely not the customer service.
Nice building, worst customer service ever experienced
Liked: Central location, nice building, although difficult for parking
Disliked: Customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. The property is managed virtually and mainly with AI agents through whatsapp messaging. We had a problem with our digital key, our apartment door was basically open for 4 days of our stay and nobody came to fix it. They kept giving us new codes to try, but the problem was mechanical, as per the videos we sent them. Only the last day they offered us to change room, too late. Our ladies felt unsafe, also because the entry door of the building was easy to open without any code, and of course there was nobody at the reception, the whole day. There was also an internal door of the bedroom broken that stuck open, we sent immediately videos of the problem, but nobody came to fix it so there was zero privacy for the people sleeping in that room. The gym, which is one of the reasons we chose this hotel, is managed by a separate company and they asked us to pay 10 Eur fee per person per day, which was not indicated in the description of the property! Also, the rooftop garden, which is also an attractive part of this property, is permanently closed.
