Exceptional
Liked: Spacious, clean and free street parking. Andrea the owner was very helpful. We could help ourselves to water, tea and coffee. A fridge was also available to use. Walking distance to the old town just opposite.
Disliked: Based on my personal preference, I find the pillow to be a bit too hard and high.
Liked: Clean, spacious and well-equipped room right next to the historic city center. Everything was perfect.
Liked: We stayed at this guesthouse for 4 nights. In the run-up to our stay we had a lot of schedule changes and our check-in time was difficult to define. We communicated with host Andrea throughout and are thankful for his patience, flexibility and understanding. During our stay, Andrea also continued to be proactive, responsive and helpful. Our room was really spacious, clean and comfy. It is located just outside the city's old town (so the old town is only a few metres away) which became very convenient for when we needed a break in the middle of the day. Breakfast is held in a common space at one table with other guests and consisted of an organic-vegan range of home-made granola, biscuits, rusk, Italian pastries (apparently he makes them himself? they were all so delicious!) and fruits. I assume that he might vary breakfast options according to the season. All in all very nice! We enjoyed our stay at Pangea and Panthalassa B&B!
Disliked: The bed in our room was a bit too soft – but that might also depend on taste, I suppose.
Liked: Host was very helpful. Breakfast was very tasty. It was a quirky bed and breakfast which was excellent value for money.
