Good but if knew about it being an event venue may have changed my mind
Liked: Friendly staff.
Disliked: This is an event hotel and there is an event most nights. Although mainly in the area between hotel and tower, noise does travel! Walk into main area was 10/15 minutes along street. Felt fairly safe. Car parking although plenty of paid parking along the road - told to stick to blue line parking which we did but still got a ticket for 30 euros. Asked reception staff but even she couldn't throw any light on it. Just be extra careful where you park!

Peaceful, and enjoyable
Liked: Beautiful castle within walking distance to the old town.
Disliked: Mainly a wedding venue, The wedding seemed to start in the evening although this didn’t disturb us, just no other guest around so it felt a little odd.
