Exceptional
Good option for training with baby
Liked: We traveled with a 6 month old baby. The location is perfect for exploring the area and not spending hours in the car. The house is perfect for a good day / night sleep for babies. The house has window shutters so, if necessary, one can make the rooms dark. We were offered a crib with a changing mat which was perfect for changing the diapers and leaving the baby unattended for a few minutes. The cleaning service was appreciated. Also we used the hot tube a few times and it was great for relaxing. The pool is heated but not hot. In mid October we had two sunny days during which swimming felt comfortable. The garden is beautiful, full of all types of trees. We were alone by the pool and in the garden and it was super relaxing. The outdoor terrace was amazing, full of green yellow grapevine and grapes. We are grateful for the gifts.
Disliked: Maybe a plus would be: changing the shower head so it doesn't sprinkle all over the bathroom.
Great place! Very clean and calm-highly recommended
Liked: Trullo Volza is a wonderful place to stay. It is beautifully maintained, and the grounds are lovely, with plenty of charming places to sit, surrounded by greenery and fruit trees. The pool is very pleasant and actually larger than it looks in the photos. There are several seating areas for guests staying in the different units, while still maintaining a good sense of privacy. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use the jacuzzi — we simply ran out of time. I guess we’ll have to come back! 😉 Cinzia is incredibly kind and welcoming, and she is a wonderful host. Our unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Whenever we needed something that wasn’t there, we simply asked and Cinzia was happy to provide it. The location is very convenient for exploring the beautiful towns in the area, while the property itself is peaceful and relaxing — a perfect place to spend the hot afternoon hours. Highly recommended!

Peaceful countryside atmosphere
Liked: The property was absolutely beautiful, with the calming scent of lavender filling the air and the gentle buzz of bees creating a peaceful countryside atmosphere. Our host was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always available if we needed anything. The apartment was the perfect size for our family of four and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids were completely obsessed with the pool—it was the highlight of our trip! We would happily stay here again. Just minutes from the lovely town of Locorotondo.
A divinity of bliss…
Liked: What is there not to like!!! Divine experience to bath the senses in every possible way. Cinzia and Paula were angels! They thought of every need we had, before we even thought of it. A blissful experience. You must do the pasta making!
A rustic charmer
Liked: Our accommodation was beautiful, clean, full of character and thoughtful touches. You can tell a lot of love has been put into Il Trullo Volza. Our host, Paola (Cinzia's daughter), was very friendly and attentive. She surprised us with freshly baked cornetti left outside our door on the first morning plus some of the most delicious cherries we've ever eaten, even a few little gifts to take home with us. Despite the heat our accommodation stayed nice and cool throughout the day, we didn't even need to use the air conditioning. We found the beds very comfortable and slept so well, which is rare for us. There are plenty of shaded areas around the facility too. The resident cats Edo and Kim are an adorable pair. We are cat people so for us this was heaven. If you don't like cats, don't worry - they knew not to come into our accommodation. With a car, the location is fantastic. Locorotondo is a ~10 minute drive away with everything you could need.
Disliked: The pool had quite a lot of bugs floating in it. It's a rural setting so I think this is unavoidable.
