Liked: We really enjoyed our stay! The room was very clean, comfortable and tidy. The hotel has a great location, close to the beautiful old town of Lucca. Private parking was very convenient for us. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time here!)

Liked: The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The location of the villa is really handy for getting into the city and walking the city walls. The staff at breakfast were lovely - so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast as there were plenty of savoury items.
Disliked: We arrived at around midday and were told in no uncertain terms that we would not be able to check in until 2pm. This was as expected but the way that the reception staff dealt with us was very brusque. We didn't feel particularly welcome. They let us park our car on the site but didn't suggest anywhere to go while we waited, which was more difficult as it was during a thunderstorm. We found a cafe to sit in for the 2 hours and then we were able to check in. Basically, don't arrive before 2pm!

Liked: The location of the place is very convenient and the buildings are also kind of historical and beautiful. The room was quite big and well furnished and there's enough space. The breakfast is also really good.
Disliked: Although we arrived quite late at night, at 1 a.m., the toilet flush was unfortunately not functioning. When we requested assistance, the staff seemed unwilling to help us at that hour, leaving us unable to flush throughout our stay. Furthermore, the sink would not drain properly, which made it difficult to brush our teeth. We were eventually forced to use a bucket we discovered by chance to flush the toilet. The assistance provided by the staff was quite disappointing. While we understand that this may have been an exceptional situation, we were dissatisfied with how the matter was handled.
