Great place to stay in Lucca
Liked: Vila Lucrezia was a great place to stay in our way to the north of Italy. The villa is beautiful and it's just near the entrance to old Lucca. We got a warm welcome from the nice lady who checked us in, she gave us a lot of information. The breakfast was great, we ate in the nice yard. There is also parking place and they let us leave the car there even after we checked out and went to the old town.

Lovely staff and a great location next to the old town
Liked: The staff were warm and very kind, and that made the stay. The location is excellent, a few minutes on foot from the old town, with free parking on site. Breakfast was nice and pleasant. They also made a real effort for us with gluten-free food: there were good gluten-free options at breakfast, and gluten-free cereal appeared the day after we brought our own. That matters a lot to us.
Disliked: Worth knowing before you book: there is no elevator, and the family room is on the top floor, two flights up. It was written in the listing, I just had not noticed, and in the end we managed fine. Breakfast does not have many options. Cleaning was fine overall, with a few small things here and there.
Liked: Great location, just across from one of the main gateways into the city. Lovely old villa with roomy bedrooms. Delicious breakfast which can be taken in the garden.
Disliked: Shower cubicle was a bit small.
