Fabulous
Excellent location and fabulous view, but quite a basic hotel
Liked: Great location opposite the lake and fabulous pool area. Amazing view from the balcony and breakfast room.
Disliked: The rooms are basic but worked well. The aircon is a bit hit or miss. The decor in the communal areas is dated. There was also an odd system at breakfast where your have to sit at your allocated table rather than near the window for example or even outside. The breakfast room was stuffy so we all would have preferred to sit outside if the option was there. The breakfast options were ok. The variety of croissants was a positive.
Nice stay near Malcesine city center
Liked: * Fantastic location right in front of the lake. * Bus stop nearby with direct connections to the city centre. * Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. * Beautiful lake views. * Excellent, well-maintained swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. * On-site parking is a big plus. * Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff.
Disliked: * Property is quite old and feels somewhat outdated. * My room did not have a full-length mirror. * No kettle or tea/coffee-making facilities in the room. * No ironing facilities. * Air conditioning is switched off between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. * Very restricted restaurant timings: dinner only from 7:00–7:45 p.m. and breakfast from 7:30–9:30 a.m. * Shower cabin was extremely small and uncomfortable to move around in. * Water pressure in the shower was not very good. * Not ideal for a staycation or a relaxing hotel-focused getaway; better suited as a convenient base for exploring the area.
Liked: Everything was great
Liked: The breakfast was fantastic and the view of Lake Garda from the Dining Room were fabulous. The Room had large sliding glass doors to a balcony which had a view of the Lake and Mountains. It made our time in Malchesine one of the favorites of our 2 week visit to Italy.
Liked: Spotless with exceptional kindness from staff. Great pool
