  Excellent location, lovely staff, basic but comfortable, clean room - good price/quality ratio

  Liked: Excellent location, room simple and small but clean, modern and comfortable. I loved the double entrance - one side directly in front of the train station or a second entrance/exit through a small, pretty courtyard on the opposite side of the hotel towards the city centre, reachable in a short, pleasant 15 minute stroll. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful

  Disliked: Breakfast. The selection was good - plenty of variety, cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, several pastries/cakes, breads, yoghurt, dried fruit, seeds, cheese, sliced meats etc. But the overall feeling was that it was too packed, staff was too rushed, hot drinks were way too slow and there were always people milling about or squeezing by each other in pokey nooks. We went at 8:15 on a Sunday morning. The buffet is right beside where you enter the breakfast area in quite a narrow, crowded space. There are also some tables along the corridor where you enter so those people had breakfast with people standing in line right beside them and had to walk by them to reach the buffet. Needs to be re-thought, only acceptable at quiet times. The seating areas are several small spaces that give an overall crowded, confusing feel.

  Good value, clean comfortable accommodation

  Liked: The hotel is close to the rail station, but a good 15 minute walk to the centre of Mantua. Breakfast wasn't included, but there are plenty of places nearby where you can get coffee and a 'cornetto'

  Disliked: The hotel is right beside a main road, so the traffic noise outside the window was disturbing.

  It’s a good place to stay, but breakfast hours are absolute disgrace

  Liked: The hotel is located right in front of the train station, 10 minutes walk from the city center. Our room was big, tidy and well-equipped.

  Disliked: The breakfast is standard: eggs, beacon, cheese, bread, sereals, sausages, biscuits, cookies, juices, milk, coffee. However, breakfast is only served from 7 to 9 am. This detail wasn’t mentioned to us when we were booking the hotel — we only knew the breakfast hours upon arrival. Serving breakfast at such an early time feels like a lack of minimal respect to the guests of the hotel — hence the overall moderate rating I give to the hotel. I would recommend not to take breakfast unless you like to wake up at 8am on your holidays. Apart from that, everything is good.

  Great for a visit of Mantova

  Liked: It is good value for money, the room was clean and it has been remodernized. The staff was really kind and welcoming. It is in a good position and great for a short visit in Mantova.
