  Liked: Everything is new and the room was clean. We booked the junior suite which was okay but it wasn't a "suite" as there was no separate seating area with a sofa/day bed. The view of the sunset from the private terrace was great! We slept really well as the bed was very comfortable and with the windows/shutters closed there was very little traffic noise. We prefer to use the air-conditioning when it's hot and with the setting on "eco" it was silent and effective. The breakfast was fine for us as in Italy it's normal to be offered a pastry and coffee - both were good quality.

  Disliked: The WiFi was terrible! When we could finally connect the quality was indicated as "poor" and we kept getting disconnected. We would like to recommend to the owners that if they are going to be delayed for the agreed check-in time, send a message! We were totally unimpressed with having to wait outside with our dog in the heat when if we'd been told in advance (which we know was possible) we could have stayed longer in the centre of Marsala.

  Excellent stopover in Marsala

  Liked: beautifully appointed room with outlook to the sea and salt works. ample car parking and easy access to the room and facility. Rooftop top terrace with great view across the foreshore. Friendly hosts who were attentive and helpful. Breakfast included.

  Disliked: not much not to like as was all excellent. There are no paths for walking, so you need to drive to other sights
