  Liked: I liked the helpful reception staff, the very grand facade, the size of the rooms, the pool area.

  Disliked: No space to just sit and chill. Would have been nice to have an actual bar area to just sit down and have an afternoon or pre dinner drink. Unless you were in the restaurant or round the pool you couldn't flag down a waiter to ask for a drink. There's a nice terrace outside reception with tables but you'd need to ask reception to send a waiter and then hope one comes. Maybe it's because it was out of season and they didn't provide that in the down months. There looked like a fabulous terrace on the top floor that seemed like an ideal place for a bar with amazing views. Again it could just be something that's there in high season so this could be unfair to judge

  Liked: Breakfast was worth the price of hotel. Absolutely outstanding.
