  A peaceful oasis in the heart of Marsala

  Liked: absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Carmine. This beautiful former monastery has a wonderful sense of history and tranquillity, and its delightful cloister garden became my favourite place to relax after exploring Marsala. The location is excellent, the breakfast beautifully presented, and the staff consistently kind, friendly and attentive. The peaceful atmosphere made my stay truly special. I was genuinely reluctant to leave and would happily return. A little sanctuary in the heart of Marsala!

  Liked: We stayed in various hotels in Sicily, and Hotel Carmine was the best by far! From location, decoration, staff, and food, the hotel is exceptional in all criteria.

  Liked: A wonderful historical building converted very sympathetically into a hotel. Lots of original features - some under glass even the floor. There was a well under glass on the entrance to our room!

  Disliked: We arrived mid afternoon and parked outside the building, only to be told to move immediately. We were directed to go to a nearby street where we found a space but had to pay, we had no change so asked at reception if she could change a €10 note but she refused. Later we saw cars parked outside with permits inside their windscreen saying " guests of Hotel Carmine". Why were not offered this? Also we were on the ground floor room 4. The window is so high you can only see the sky through it. It was cold and we had to ask for a blanket as none where provided.

  Excellent stay

  Liked: Beautiful hotel in an old well preserved palazzo. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. The only downside is the Air conditioning unit in our room was noisy.
