  Good location and price

Liked: Fairly good location for the price. Supermarket very close with all you need, a park with promenade very close to the port. Beaches are far away, but that's just how it is in Messina. Restaurants are 15 minutes away, very good ones. Coffe is also 5 minutes away, but there is a coffee machine in the kitchen as well, which is very well equipped. Overall the place is spacious and nice, and the area quite good, buses 5 minutes away. I recommend.

Disliked: Mosquitos were awful. There are nets, but there were many mosquitos inside somehow, did not sleep first night, second night tried spray and did not work, so no sleep again, and got bitten everywhere, third night bought Raid solution to pug in the socket which worked good and I could sleep. Also there is little natural light inside, but I guess in summer this is good and the place is cool, and the lights are all white - very tiring, maybe some warm light would be nice.

  Transfer to Train station

Liked: Owner went out of her way to accommodate our ever needs by personal transporting us to the train station in 2 groups. Didn't have to.
