Very good
An old style hotel with good location at a reasonable price
Liked: I have stayed in this hotel before and I like the location about 5 minutes walk from the city centre, and that the hotel is a characterful building, not just a box. It is also useful that the hotel does valet parking (for which you pay) as the location is within the city.
Disliked: Very little. The only thing that grates was that the cleaners did not replace drinking cups/glasses every day despite obvious use. You would wash up used glasses daily at home so why are these left dirty in a hotel for 4 days. I have found this happens in other hotels. Location-wise the hotel is in a nice historic area but the wrong side of the city to the railway station if you need to use that. It could be difficult to get to by car without satnav as there are many one-way streets in the area.

Liked: The location and variety of breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: Some of the toiletries were empty and not replaced.
Definitely worth a return visit - thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Liked: Central location and walkable to the railway station at a push. Public transport gets within 5 minutes walk. Informed, friendly and helpful staff. Room sufficiently spacious to relax if needing to stay in, but good lounge facilities and bar as well. Breakfast absolutely brilliant - a fantastic spread!
Disliked: The only suggestion I would make is to get an English language tv news channel, as otherwise everything is in Italian.
Staff did their best but the hotel needs major update. Bathrooms mouldy, paint old, discoloured and stained carpets and
Liked: Location and character of original features. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Poor repair and maintenance. Needs major investment. Not enough staff, priority given to evening events closing the bar..
Liked: The staff were gracious, the garden and public areas were very attractive and the location was great.
Disliked: We would like to have had a kettle in our room. The staff provided boiling water when requested, but our own kettle would have made it easier to make tea when we wanted it.
Great location but sadly unfriendly staff
Liked: Excellent location, close to the local bars and restuarants as well as beautiful buildings around. Good spread for breakfast.
Disliked: Staff were unfriendly and not very helpful. Got back to hotel at 11.30pm and could not get a bottle of water as bar was closed and complimentary water station empty. Hotel is very dated and can do with a revamp.
