  A beautiful, luxurious apartment in Monopoli

  Liked: This apartment was beautifully styled and in a great location in the old town - walkable to restaurants, beaches and the train station. The spa was a great touch and worked well. The master suite was beautiful and felt very luxurious. The hosts communicated really well and gave helpful directions given the apartment is in the old town and you can’t drive or park near it. Overall, an excellent stay.

  Disliked: Watch the steps into the spa - they get very slippery when wet!!

  We enjoyed Monopoli!

  Liked: Super location in heart of old town. Very comfortable bed, we slept very well! Lots of towels. Lots of hot water. Super shower!

  Disliked: No idea how the spa or steam room worked! No instructions left, my husband tried but no luck. No coffee pods left for the coffee machine. Two sets of Very steep steps though guess that is to be expected in old properties but tricky with a big suitcase and no hand rail.

  Beautiful, well located, but Spa not working

  Liked: The apartment is very well located, in a beautiful part of Monopoli. Hence it is not possible to park in the Old Town, there are paid parking lots very close and free parking if you're ok to walk 8 min. Very charming flat with a wonderful deco and great facilities. The spa gives a nice charm to the property.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, the frustrating part is that we could not enjoy the Spa, the water was cold and the Sauna was not turning on. The staff proposed some distance help but due to a short stay and busy activity outside, we could not accommodate losing more time on getting things fixed up. More notice/documentation on the use the Spa devices would have been helpful, as well as more proactivity from the staff would have helped.

  Liked: The location was prime in the heart of the old town near food, shopping, and sites. The private pool was perfect for my son, and the sauna was nice after a taxing day of walking. The apartment was within walking distance of the train station, which meant easy travel to neighboring towns. Air conditioning worked spectacularly! The design was aesthetically pleasing. The lighting and controls were convenient.

  Disliked: At 73" (185cm), the stairs and entry to the sauna were tricky (vertically). Even with staff assistance through WhatsApp and ChatGPT, we could not figure out how to use the sauna with dry heat.

  Exceptional

  Liked: Apartment is located in a quiet street of the old town. Close to everything. The apartment has a jacuzzi, beautifully decorated atmospheric interior in Italian style. Very good communication with the owner via Whatsapp. Very good working wifi. Monopoli is a quiet town and a good base for sightseeing. I highly recommend it. I will gladly return back there.
