  Perfect spot to enjoy Monopoli old town

  Liked: Very secure, private space in the heart of Monopoli old town. Restaurants, gelato and the water all within minutes of us, but hardly any noise. Great communication about codes and access. Also note - this apartment is up two flights of steep stairs, which was fine for us but some might struggle with getting bags up there

  Disliked: Bed creaked. The washing machine was broken, but they were working to fix it

  Location wise go for it!

  Liked: Location location! That the property had a washing machine and balcony. Big bedroom for bags etc. comfortable beds, quiet neighbourhood just a few steps from restaurants and bars and shops!

  Disliked: The steep narrow steps up to the 2nd floor. The property needed some TLC the oven was dirty - we had to ask for some more linen - was provided the next day - the “top” balcony was unkempt and not attractive at all. Just an umbrella, being swept etc would have done the trick! No tea towels or wine glasses!

  Ideal to experience the old town

  Liked: Beautiful apartment right in the centre of Old Town. Everything you need is on your doorstep here. We walked and explored Monopli and found lovely beaches and swimming spots. We got a taxi from Bari Airport which is about an hour and cost 105 euro because we arrived late. We did a few day trips by train and got the train to the airport. Trains are really good value and the station is about 15 minutes walk. The weather was amazing and we appreciated the air conditioning in the apartment to cool down in the evenings. We had a small Juliette balcony which was lovely to have our morning coffee there is also a very nice roof terrace with sun loungers and a lovely view of the town especially at sunset.

  Disliked: Everything was perfect But just to let people know that the stairs to the apartment are quite steep this didn’t bother us We would have appreciated extra pillows and also some wine glasses Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

  Great location, good facilities for a couple to enjoy a few days in Monopoli

  Liked: Very central location in Monopoli, as a base for exploring the quaint and clean old town and for a nice boat trip. Facilities good…..especially the AC as we are in-used to +30C heat.

  Disliked: Stairs up on way home to escape the heat put us out of breath….but we knew about this anyway.
