  Liked: The location is great.

  Disliked: The room is like a cave underground, very dark and claustrophobic. There's only a tiny window, you can't really air the room properly. A big bathtub in the middle which wasn't that clean (it had some pink bacteria stains in the corners), so we didn't use it. Generally, the cleanliness felt more like a quick superficial sweep of the place, and it's in need of a thorough cleaning. We also encountered three cockroaches during the first 2 nights of staying there, one of them fell on my husbands face from the ceiling at 2 am during sleep (a real nightmare situation). Although I understand it might not be the accommodations fault, as it is pretty much in the cellar and it was warm those nights, I feel like cockroaches are unavoidable. We contacted the host and asked if we could leave earlier and get a refund, but they offered to clean the place and disinfect, so we settled for that. I do have to say that even after this "thorough" clean the cockroach from the previous night, which we left as is on the floor next to the bed, was still there... So I'm not sure how thorough the clean was. Afterwards it just smelled strongly like bleach, which was impossible to ventilate out of the apartment. Wouldn't stay again especially for the price we paid for this...

  Brilliant, Romantic and Great Location

  Liked: I really enjoyed the location of the property. It was down a lovely street and right in the old town. The facilities inside were amazing. The bathtub with the candles and Prosecco included was a great added touch. Really great for a romantic date night vibe.

  Disliked: Locating the property was a-bit difficult. In fairness the property owner sent us lots of instructions to reach the property but when I put the address in it doesn’t bring you directly to the apartment. I would suggest maybe using What3words. Giving this to someone would help them locate the property a lot easier.

  Love the area. Everything you could wish for is pretty close. Short walk to the beach. Only negative was that there is

  Disliked: Too small, dark and damp. Perfect for a couple for a romantic two night. 5 nights was far too long. The the host was amazing.

  Comfortable and Unique Stay

  Liked: What a cute, unique place! We were really impressed when we walked in - it feels a lot bigger than what the pictures show.

  Disliked: While we were there the hot water and shower wasn’t working. The shower was one of the main reasons we booked this stay, so after a long day of travel realizing we’re not going to be able to have a shower was a real disappointment. If we had been given a refund of some sort after our stay for this inconvenience, that would have made things better. But we didn’t receive any compensation so we were left with a bad taste about this property. There was also a lot of fragrance - a room spray and strong candles - which were a bit bothersome.
