  Not a pleasant stay

  Liked: The room was large and comfortable but dark only a small very high up. The bed was comfortable and we liked the shared kitchen

  Disliked: The location is in restricted zone and impossible to drive through and drop off luggage as claimed by owner. It was a nightmare trying to navigate the narrow street. The owner should just clearly tell where to park instead of telling us vaguely that we can drive to the property between certain times. In the end We found a parking lot not far away but it cost another 18 euros every night so you need to add that cost to the total price. Also the so called fabulous breakfast was only a coffee and croissant. The owner first said would delivery us a breakfast voucher but then just told us to speak to the owner of the cafe. We stayed number of places for this trip in Italy and all of the other owners are very helpful some even meet us at place then lead us to the parking lots as they knew it would be hard for overseas visitors to navigate those areas.

  Liked: Location was really nice and appartment very beautiful.

  Disliked: The kitchen amenities are in need of an upgrade. For instance, the wine glasses provided were disposable ones to be reused. There was a coffee machine in the apartment, but it would have been nice to have some coffee available—at least for the first morning. The living room featured a long, magnificent table, yet there were only four chairs. We had two rooms at our disposal; one accommodated four people, but there were only two bath towels. We managed with those, but you'd think the cleaners could check this. Furthermore, the bathroom in the other room lacked a working light bulb. We brought this to the attention of the contact person twice, but it was never fixed. The smoke detector also lacked a functioning battery. Most distressing of all was the disappearance of a coin purse (which we reported immediately), food also went missing from the refrigerator, and on the final morning, we discovered that three breakfast vouchers had vanished. It could not have been other guests, as these incidents occurred before their arrival and after their departure during the cleaning process. The apartment itself was truly lovely Valeria, but these are things worth paying attention to.

  Monopoli is a great place historic and near the sea, plenty of restaurants around the old town, felt safe at night, the

  Liked: The location and the room we had was very large with a spa bath, the bedroom and bathroom were clean, we couldn’t gear any noise from the street below

  Disliked: There was a lot of steps which you will get in an old town to get to the room, and more to get to roof top, the roof top had a great view of the castle but only 2 loungers that were not for our use, there was an old table chairs wooden, photo on website shows quite a few loungers.. the position of the apartment was great, and a lovely breakfast each morning instructions of how to use the spa bath and tv would have been helpful

  The location is incredible, and the rooms are stunning and generously sized. Val has created a truly beautiful space tha

  Liked: The property is in a great location

  Disliked: We found the Terrance nice but no shade and no drying racks for clothes. it’s a communal space and the chairs are owned by another accomodation no it’s very confusing what can be used and what can’t. The view up there is beautiful tho. Also the room we had has a spa bath there is a hand held handle shower but needs a shower fixed attachment.

  Delightful stay in Monopoli

  Liked: Good location, nice room and bathroom with shared kitchen. Good value for money and nice breakfast from the cafe next door. Although no physical staff the owner was easily contactable on WhatsApp. No key there was a code, great idea, no key to loose and the 2 of us could come and go as we pleased.

  Disliked: Only minor, but towels and bathers didn’t dry well, used the communal balcony in the end.
