Liked: The room was absolutely wonderful — spacious, elegant, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally comfortable, with an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. The breakfast was another highlight, with excellent-quality products, fresh ingredients, and attentive service. The restaurant was equally delightful, offering a lovely dining experience that complemented the charm of Montalcino. What truly made the stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Special thanks to **Giusy**, who went above and beyond to help organize winery visits, private transfers, excursions around Val d’Orcia, and other travel arrangements. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made my entire experience in Tuscany even more memorable. An outstanding place to stay, with wonderful people who truly care about their guests. I would return without hesitation!
Beautiful place to stay in a great location. Quiet wine loving town
Liked: Location was wonderful next to the Fortress. Beautiful room and great restaurant next door which was part of the propery.
Disliked: Didn't have someone at the hotel to speak with, could use WhatsApp to contact them between 8am and 8pm which worked well. At the end of the stay, they had a sister property around the corner that had staff available at the desk which was nice.
The Tuscan hills are beautiful, the wine bountiful and the stay in Montalcino was brilliant

Disliked: We would love to have had a little more night life but the Drogheria was awesome.

Liked: Centrally located. Nice room
Disliked: Overlooking a parking lot. Parking reserved but payment at parking meter failed over and over again
If you want to experience a fairytale, come to Montalcino and stay at Franci
Liked: A magical experience where the staff followed through on the “Be Our Guest” serenade to make us live the fairytale. The room was perfect, reflecting the exquisite charm of Montalcino. The courtyard provided a tranquil escape to drink a cup of tea, read a book, or enjoy a bottle of wine from a previous tasting. The breakfast was five star as you sat in the outside dining room gazing at the local fortress. The restaurant provided amazing tastes of the region. Outside the front door was our favorite Enoteca in the city (also owned by Franci) with a back deck providing a breathtaking view of the Brunello wine valley. Go see Tasi, the hotel’s vineyard, and learn about the Brunello wine, and tell Stephanie her friends from Cape Cod say hi.
