  Good location - some frustrating aspects

  Liked: Very picturesque and nice location. Close to the town. The store on the property was also nice.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, a few things took away from our stay. When we arrived, there was a strong cooking smell in the apartment, which was unpleasant. The air conditioning remotes had also been removed from the property (for some reason), so we had to contact the host to ask for them to be returned. Summer may have been over, but it was still very warm, and opening the windows wasn't really an option because of the bugs. Whether to use the air conditioning should be the guest's choice, so this felt like a strange decision. Breakfast is advertised as 7–10am, but when we arrived five minutes before 10, we were turned away. If there's an earlier cut-off for last service, that should be made clear to guests in advance. Being turned away like that left a bad taste in our mouths. Finally, the buffet-style breakfast is served to you by the hosts rather than being self-serve, which felt a bit awkward. It would be much nicer to help yourself, without feeling judged for asking for seconds or particular items or pieces of food.

  Liked: We had a lovely stay! Tiziana is a wonderful host, so warm and welcoming. She prepares and serves breakfast every morning, making you feel right at home. The house is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by the Tuscan countryside, with lovely views of Montepulciano. Having your morning coffee on the terrace while enjoying the views is simply magical. We also loved tasting the local cheeses from the farm with a nice glass of wine overlooking the beautiful countryside. The location is perfect for exploring the area between Pienza and Montepulciano. We would definitely come back!

  Such a great place to stay!

  Liked: We loved it here! The location is great - so easy to get to Montepulciano and Pienza. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the shower was large, and there are no words for the amazing views from the balcony! The included breakfast was nice too and different every day which was appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!

  Liked: The Host, the Villa and location were all Exceptional. Had a wonderful stay, starting each day with a delicious complimentory continental breakfast made by the hand of the lovely host. Sat and ate from the shared terrace, with the most scienic view across the Tuscany countryside upto Montepulciano town high on the hill ahead. Majestic!

  Disliked: Couldn't fault this beautiful place.
