  Our stay gave us the right dose of Naples, just enough to absorve the vibe of Naples

  Liked: The owners were exceptional. I also loved the location, very close to the historic center and short metro ride to naples modern district. We had day trips to pompei and amalfi coast and since the property is also close to garibaldi station, those trip went without any issues. Lastly, the view from our room was spectacular especially the sunrise with Mt Vesuvius from afar and the historic center below. Check my photo for reference.

  Disliked: The wifi did not work during my stay. I have esim so not a problem at all. However, if you need to do work, you might want a more stable wifi connection. The surrounding neighbourhood may feel a little unsafe or intimidating at first, particularly if you’re unfamiliar with the area. However, after a couple of days, you become more comfortable with the surroundings, and the initial impression gradually fades.

  Liked: The staff were truly friendly; they even took me to the airport at night. The B&B is located near the Piazza Garibaldi station and within walking distance of the city's attractions. The room was clean and featured a large balcony. The nighttime sounds of Naples might disturb light sleepers, so be sure to bring earplugs.

  Liked: It was in the Historic Centre, 5-10 minutes walking from Naples Central Station, it was ideal to walk around the Historic Centre.

  Disliked: It was hard to find the entrance initially.

  Liked: Pluses: 1) Close to the station 2) Nice view of Vesuvius 3) Decent host.

  Disliked: Minuses: My third visit to Naples and by far the most problematic accommodation: 1) The area around the building was filthy (I know it is Naples). 2) "King Room with Sea View" but no bathroom? The term "shared bathroom" was buried in a long description. It should have been stated right next to the room type, as is standard. 3) The owner forbade access to the kitchen? Crazy—especially since the fridge is there and there were no glasses in the room. 4) Breakfast at 8:30 was useless and pointless—too late. Besides, the hosts didn't even arrive until around 9:00, and the breakfast was poor (just coffee and a small pastry). When we asked formn water, it was served in plastic cups. Terrible. Better to have a breakfast in the cafeteria. 5) Power outlets in the room were falling apart, and some didn't work. 6) Water pressure in the bathtub was very weak. 7) The city tax is now 5.50, not 4.50 as stated on booking.com
