  Liked: Good location, friendly staff

  Disliked: The wall in the room was all in wholes scratched etc, the wall beside shower was really dirty. The room could be in better condition for the money paid

  A solid choice on the Mediterranean Sea boardwalk near the ferry pier

  Liked: I selected this place for its location - on the water facing the ferry pier as we were heading to Capri the next morning. Easy walk to the ferries. Loved the location. Some difficulty getting the door open - it's a tricky lock - but nothing bad or serious; just challenging. The room was great. A couple of restaurants in the building along the boardwalk where we sat into the night. Street musicians played. Good food.

  Disliked: As noted above, a challenging entrance door to unlock but that just was a challenge.

  Disliked: Terrible communication. We were supposed to have a room with a balcony, which we didn't get, and when I messaged the owner, she completely ignored me. The air conditioning was broken and made a horrible noise. I reported it again, and they claimed it was fixed, but it was just as bad during the night. Not to mention the dried-up grime in the shower—overall, it felt like cleanliness isn't much of a priority there. 'Breakfast included' sounds great—that is, if you don't mind having just a croissant and coffee every single day, since that's all you're actually entitled to. And if you speak English to the staff in the cafe, don't expect a warm welcome. Instead, brace yourself for condescending attitudes and nasty looks! For Naples being one of Italy's most visited cities, I would expect them to be used to tourists and willing to communicate, especially considering that tourists generate a HUGE part of their revenue!

  Liked: We want to make it clear that we had absolutely no problem with the female contact person. She was kind, helpful and cooperative, and she assisted us with changing rooms.

  Disliked: I absolutely do NOT recommend this accommodation. Throughout our stay, we experienced several issues that we consider completely unacceptable for accommodation at this price level. Our first room had serious problems. The air conditioning was extremely loud and constantly clicking, making it very difficult to sleep and rest properly. This was not simply a matter of personal perception: we measured the noise with a decibel meter and documented the measurements. The walls were also extremely thin, meaning that we could clearly hear the neighbouring bathroom and virtually every noise coming from other guests. There were also several obvious maintenance issues: the wallpaper was peeling off in multiple places, the wardrobe mirror was cracked, and the door handle was broken. We documented all of these problems with photos and videos, so these were not subjective complaints but clearly documented issues. Eventually, we were given a larger room, which at least partially improved the situation. However, even the new room had problems: the shower was heavily covered in limescale. What was particularly unacceptable to us, however, was the owner’s attitude. We properly reported the problems and documented everything, yet the owner failed to communicate with us properly and, to this day, has still not replied to our messages. Completely ignoring a guest’s complaints in such circumstances is, in our opinion, unacceptable and extremely disrespectful. Our complaint is specifically about the quality of the accommodation and the owner’s attitude towards our complaints. The breakfast was another major disappointment and, in our opinion, not an acceptable breakfast at all. There were basically only sweet pastries available, and the only drink option was coffee. There was no savoury food, no alternative drink and no meaningful choice whatsoever. For anyone who does not eat sweet food or does not drink coffee, there was essentially nothing suitable to eat or drink.
