  next time in Naples.. we'll be back at Chiara

  Liked: We arrived at night...by taxi from the airport. It was our first time in Naples. We were slightly alarmed by the initial prospect; (battered green door...dustbins on entering). But once in the property itself all was wonderful! Best thing. The staff,..... without exception, were really lovely, welcoming and friendly. They even helped this rather ancient 82 year old with his luggage. And breakfasts were a highlight. Sitting on the terrace under the watchful eye of the dome of St Michael's Church, where we went to |Mass on two occasions!...

  It felt like "home for home". Next time in Naples, we'll be back

  Liked: Best thing. Lovely friendly staff. So nice and welcoming! Breakfasts were very good. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace having our breakfast under the dome and watchful eye of St Michael's church. Very clean. Very central..and close to San Carlo opera house! Nice and quiet. Good sleeps.

  Disliked: Arriving in the evening after dark, on our first visit to Naples, the battered green door and the vestibule with its bins, made an uneasy initial impression. But hey! This is Naples...and once into the Chiara suites, all was well.

  Liked: Great location in Chiaia.

  Disliked: Room was extremely damp and not very well maintained. The quality of products at breakfast was lacking. Earplugs were provided which was an immediate hint as to the noise level in the room. Although the street was quieter at night than during the day, the windows provided almost no noise barrier for vespas, cars and people outside. The door was also extremely thin, meaning that we could hear any sound coming from the hallway at all times.
