  Nice stay

  Liked: Although we just stayed for one night affer visiting Amalfi Coast but it was great stay. The staffs of the hotel are very nice friendly and helpful. the man in the reception nicely welcomed us and allowed us to leave our lugage until the room was ready as we arrived before 12pm and the room would be ready at 2pm. We had the room with balcony looking to the backyard that i find it really nice and quiet and the room is very clean. Location is on the plazza Garibaldi near the restaurants train station, taxi, bus and shopping. Easy to get the train, bus and taxi from the hotel. We could not enjoyed the breakfast as we had to leave very early in the morning. Special mentioned to Mia the receptionist who was really nice and kind to help us arranged the taxi to the airport as we had to leave the hotel 4am in the morning to catch our flight, and the night security of the hotel also helped us to arrange this transfer to make sure the taxi was in time and smooth. From check in to check out, it was just perfect.

  A small hotel with friendly staff, close to the station for quick access to the ferry terminal

  Liked: The staff at Ideal City Walk were friendly and helpful. We arrived very early and received a cheerful greeting, plus an immediate offer to store our luggage. When we returned, another helpful staff member carried our luggage up to the first floor for us (there is no lift) - this being the same staff member who made sure our coffee was to our liking in the breakfast room. We very much appreciated the service.

  Disliked: Only a small criticism about the scrambled eggs at breakfast time. It's difficult for these to retain moisture when in a warming dish, particularly if there is not a large number of people to eat them quickly. They were really overcooked and not very appealing. Maybe preferable to offer more cold meat, boiled eggs and cheese with the excellent bread, rather than trying to cater with eggs and bacon?

  Good overall

  Liked: Everything, the shower, the bed, the temperature, the yard, the staff. I forgot my charger but they found it and sealed it in an envelope waiting for me to fetch it.

  Disliked: If i had to, the yard wasn't cleaned that well, paper pieces and dirt. The room we booked was to the smaller end. The toilet flushing is the old Italian style which you have to push hard for a few times to get it full on

  A very convenient location, good value for money in a charming old building

  Liked: The staff were friendly and courteous and very helpful.

  Disliked: There is no lift and there is a slight smell of ‘drains’ in that part of Naples.

  A quirky little hotel that more than met our needs

  Liked: This budget hotel has a superb location. The rooms are tiny but very well appointed and ours featured a large outdoor deck that provided additional space (albeit in the internal courtyard of the building). The staff especially Mia at reception were exceptionally helpful. Rooms are on the first floor of a building without elevator. That said, our bags were whisked to our rooms by the accommodating staff.

  Disliked: Like several hotels we stayed in in Italy some funky sewer gas smells seem a part of large urban environments. Management seemed to take pains to manage the problem and both bedroom and bathroom had opening windows.

  Liked: Close to the Central Station and 200m from the bus stop connection to the airport. It is quiet if you have a room not to the big square. Many close by restaurants and cafterias.
