  Its worth it!

  Liked: Once you manage to get to the sixth floor you are massively rewarded with a breathtaking view and a fabulous room, and even a few complimentary items. The view and the room itself actually exceeded my expectations. The bed was super comfortable and everything about the bathroom was fantastic. For a fantastic room with one of the most iconic and beautiful views the price that you pay is very fair in my opinion. The location is superb as well - only 20 minute walk from Mergellina metro station and there are plenty of bars and restaurants about 10 minutes walk. Also just a short walk is a Conad store and I must mention Bagno Elena/Bagno Donn'Anna which is now a wonderful free public beach. It is close enough that you will almost certainly hear the waves clearly. I read some negative reviews about the breakfast voucher arrangement. I did not have a problem with this (I did the exact same thing at a place in Vercelli). Its not really an inconvenience, I just see is as having a free coffee and croissant!

  Disliked: I work in the hospitality industry at an iconic location and I know how important it is for travellers to know what to expect and to feel confident and reassured about their holiday. That is why I feel strongly that the customer service and communication from 'The Management' is not as good as it should be. In particular there should be better arrangements for access into the building initially - especially for anyone who arrives in the evening because the concierge will not be there and the door will be locked. If you have to use the stairs then you are in trouble and good luck with that. Here is some advice that I can give guests who plan to stay: If at all possible arrive before 17.00 for the reason above regarding the concierge. Make sure you arrive with some 10c coins and you WILL need more than you think you need! The Bar Moccia is not open for using your breakfast vouchers but Cafe Moreno is and you get great service there. I enclose a photograph of the entrance - it is set back a little from the main street. Go to where you see 382. If you are lucky and the door is open head to the left and through the tunnel to the lift. You will get further instructions from The Management.

  Fantastisk utsikt och läge, uselt att det inte gick att nå någon person när det är så svårt att komma in på boendet

  Liked: The room and location are excellent, some of the best views I have ever seen

  Disliked: It was nearly impossible to reach any person responsible, I tried to call several times to get help to get in and out (you need a physical key) but nobody answered. Really stressful the last day when I had my luggage in the reception (never any person there for 5 days)and the elevator broke down and there were no possibility to reach the rooms if you did not have a key and nobody answered the phone. It was pure luck the repairman came late in the afternoon, ormImwould have missed the plane home. The trash cans in the room and kitchen were not emptied in 4 days, not very nice. These thing should be spelled out in the information, because it is really a problem.

  Fabulous view but be prepared for an adventure to check in

  Liked: The view, we had booked into an ocean view apartment and the view didn’t disappoint!! The aircon is great too.

  Disliked: The check in process, in theory is very simple. However, you cannot enter the building without someone letting you in. We arrived at 2 for our check in time, we couldn’t enter the building because it was locked, we tried to contact reception and no one was there. Luckily there was someone cleaning the foyer who unlocked the door for us. The other road block is getting out of the building if you don’t have money for the elevator (you actually can’t get out, we waited for a resident to leave and followed their car out), there was meant to be tokens for the elevator. We were three days and there was never any tokens supplied. We contacted the reception via WhatsApp multiple time asking if there was another way/where the tokens were and didn’t quite receive an answer. Might have been lost in translation?

  A wonderful view in our favourite area of Naples

  Liked: This is in a brilliant location with an extraordinary view. The manager, Martina, was very accommodating to our needs. It is very clean and has good AC. The cleaning person Ella was very helpful.

  Disliked: There are only minor issues which could be easily fixed. Our little fridge was not cold in exceptionally hot weather. I would prefer in-person service at reception rather than through What’s App.
