Fabulous
Good value low cost accommodation
Liked: Small hotel with the basics, well run, in city center, well priced. I made a mistake on booking, missed a days accommodation. This unit filled the need..
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
Liked: Super friendly and helpful staff, perfect location, cosy hotel as a whole.
Disliked: Due to the extreme heat, the room was not getting cool enough, despite the airco running. Not perse due to the hotel,but it did have an influence on my quality of sleep
A huge letdown
Liked: I would never recommend this hotel. First of all, despite being listed as having parking, it was a terrible surprise for us to find out that the nearest parking lot was a 15-minute drive away. On top of that, the lady at the reception, who couldn't speak English, recommended another parking lot 35 minutes away instead of the one 15 minutes away! Fortunately, we managed to find the closer one ourselves. We found out about the parking issue when we arrived at the hotel in the evening, and we left our car at the entrance for just 3 minutes to drop off our luggage (since we would have to walk at least 40 minutes on the way back!!). When we returned to Istanbul, we found out that t is forbidden to drive in to the historic center with a diesel or benzine car between some hours, and thanks to this we had two pay 2 fines with a total amount of 280 Euro. The lady didn't warn us about that either. Furthermore, the rooms were very old, and we weren't really sure about the cleanliness. It doesn't deserve any points except for its location; I would never recommend this hotel.
Great location. Great staff
Liked: Great location, just two minutes from Piazza Signori. Also just a 15 minute walk to the train station. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good, no hot foods, but certainly ample.
Disliked: Not much to complain about; of course these European rooms could always be a bit larger. But the hotel does provide a couple of public sitting areas to compensate.
Great place to visit and base day trips. Breakfast was great. Staff was great!!!
