Fabulous
Great location for exploring old Padova
Liked: Excellent location in central Padova. The hotel is a bit older, but it seems the rooms were renovated not too long ago and they were cleaned daily. The rest of the hotel seemed a bit outdated in places, but it has its charm, so we didn't mind. Breakfast was good, with a enough options for most people. We came by car and reserved a spot in their garage, which is located about 100m away and perhaps a bit pricey (15eur/night), but at least we didn't worry about the car. Not that we felt unsafe or anything, because we didn't. Padova felt safer compared to some other (bigger) cities, like Rome around the Termini station, for instance.
Disliked: The only thing I can remember is that we couldn't have the window open at night, because of the noise from the heating/AC machine (or something similar, not sure what it was). Other than that, everything was great.
Best hotel... Great service...Best location
Liked: Good breakfast, the receptionists and staff were very welcoming and polite. Good housekeeping. Clean towels and nice room. Best location. Close to St. Anthony Church. Everything was good...Just book this hotel.. Just perfect 👌 👍
Disliked: No complaints. Just perfect 👌
Liked: All staff members VERY friendly and EXCELLENTLY professional! Many 4 and 5 star hotels should get a lesson that hotels are not only the buildings but the people! I look forward to my next stay!
Great location and friendly staff, but the room lacked comfort and peace
Liked: Location is excellent, the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always greeted us with a smile. The daily breakfast spread was basic and identical each morning, but the highlight was the lovely staff who made fresh espresso and americano for us every morning day. Our 2nd floor street facing room was clean and bed was comfortable. Overall, excellent service and location, but the lack of air control and sound insulation made for a tough night's sleep.
Disliked: The walls are paper thin - we could hear neighboring guests talking, banging furniture doors and flushing the toilet as if they were right inside our bathroom. The property feels quite dated (you are handed an physical metal key rather than a keycard). There were no "Do Not Disturb" door hangers provided, so we had to specifically inform reception not to send housekeeping in each day. There's mini fridge, kettle and tea but no instant coffee. Be careful, they will charge you 1.50 euro if you drink water that was in the fridge. The room felt very stuffy, even for mid-October. Since the AC was switched off for the season, opening the window was our only option. Unfortunately, keeping it open invited a swarm of mosquitoes that bit us terribly throughout the night. Closing the window was necessary to block out the heavy street noise, but internal soundproofing is practically non-existent.
Liked: Super friendly and helpful staff, great location and very comfortable room 👌🏼
