  Best ever!!!!

  Liked: We arrived early and asked if we could have a light lunch. The host/chef prepared one of the tastiest lunches for us, with cheese, meats, bread, freshly cooked vegetables, yummy desserts and a bottle of delicious house wine. Dinner was magical. Our table was beautifully set in front of a roaring fire. And this food was five-star. We dreamed about it ever since. Everything was made on-site with ingredients from their own farm, such as the hand-made pasta with wild boar stew, which we selected from their extensive menu. This was truly one of the best meals on our vacation. The room was exceptional and the facility was wonderful, with nice walking trails, lots of comfortable places to sit and horses to watch. Also a gorgeous view of the valley and monastery below. Additionally, the hosts were wonderful in every way. Very friendly and accommodating. Next time, we will book for a longer stay here.

  Hidden gem near Padula

  Liked: View over the Valley was beautiful. Great reception after a long journey and a beautifully delicious locally sourced farmer's meal with fresh handmade pasta and antipasti at very reasonable rates including a very full bottle of a local fruity red wine and a bottle of water. Rooms are recently renovated, nice airco, stunning views, lovely beds and spacious bathroom.

  Liked: It is well worth the drive up gravel road to the out of the way location. The dinner served was wonderful with locally sourced meats and cheeses. Very friendly owner.

  Disliked: The road up to it is one lane and we were happy that we didn’t encounter another car as we drove it.

  Perfect. We loved it

  Liked: The location is beautiful with stunning views. We loved our hosts and also Oliver the beautiful yellow Labrador who greeted us on arrival. Francesco’s evening hospitality filled us with warmth. The walks from the farm are just delightful. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

  Disliked: Absolutely nothing - it was perfect.
