  We're planning on returning, so I think that says it all!

  Liked: The location is absolutely divine. I would wake up, put my swim suit on, walk 30 yards, and be swimming in the sea. Our little beach was perfect, shallow, clear, warm, and so fun for snorkeling! We were there right at the end of the summer season, so not only was the weather lovely, the beach and living areas were always nice and quiet. We were an easy walk to town where we'd get dinner every night and to get to our boat trip to La Maddalena. Alberto was so communicative and would even just check on us during the week to see if we needed more coffee/towels/laundry tablets. Our last morning, he even made us coffee that we shared on his patio! The apartment itself has a full kitchen, a washer, and great AC. My boyfriend and I are already scheming to get back to Palau and stay again.

  Beautiful Location, Private Beach & Amazing Host

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it! The host, Alberto, was absolutely excellent — very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The view from the apartment was amazing, and having access to a private beach was a huge plus. We arrived late at night with our child, when all the shops were already closed, so we were especially grateful that the apartment had everything we needed to prepare food for our child. It was such a thoughtful and convenient touch after a late arrival. Another huge advantage was the three air conditioners in the apartment. They truly saved us during the intense summer heat and made our stay much more comfortable. The high-speed Wi-Fi was also excellent — fast and reliable throughout our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience thanks to the beautiful location, great facilities, and especially the wonderful hospitality of Alberto. We would happily stay here again!

  Great location

  Liked: Close to the beach, the water is clear and there are lots of fish to observe. The apartment was very clean with everything we needed. In our apartment there were some issues with the air conditioning and we got moved to another, better one, where the air conditioning worked perfectly. The host was very helpful and available, thanks again Alberto!

  Disliked: You can't use the red umbrellas on the beach, they are reserved for Club Esse. But it's not a big deal, there were some umbrellas in the apartment we could use. And there are some blue umbrellas with sunbeds near the apartment that we were allowed to use. There is a pool 100-200m away but there too, most umbrellas are reserved for Club Esse.

  Splendido!

  Liked: The 2 bedroom apartment (nr 10) was perfect for our family - 2 adults and 2 teenage daughters. It was spacious, spotlessly clean and in an amazing location - a few steps and you were on a lovely beach. Short walk into town for good restaurants, gelateria etc. Palau has a good vibe - bustling but laid back at the same time and the people are very friendly. The huge wrap around balcony at case sul mare was excellent too. We enjoyed mornings there for breakfast and coffee and our daughters sunbathed - it was nice and private for them. Alberto was an amazing property manager. He helped us when we had car trouble (note to anyone who intends to book a rental car - DO NOT use Greenmotion Olbia airport!) and nothing was too much bother for him. He left plenty of coffee pods which we managed to get through because Italian coffee is the best. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay. It was fantastic and we were so sad to leave. I would definitely recommend case sul mare to anyone. Grazie mille Alberto!

  Disliked: I only have one small grumble - and this isn’t the property’s fault but the commune’s - there is only a 1 hour window where you can put your rubbish in the communal bin and that window is 19:00-20:00 daily - a time when we liked to be out. As always, Alberto came to our rescue and showed us an alternative location. Thank you Albi!

  Perfect apartment for a perfect vacation!

  Liked: Our stay at Casa Sul Mare was wonderful! Alberto was an excellent host. The property was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay, including coffee maker, washer, and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was great. It was located on a lovely sandy beach and was a quick and easy walk into town for restaurants, markets, shopping, the marina, and the ferry to La Maddalena. Parking was in a dedicated lot or along the street. Palau was a great town to stay in due to the proximity to the marina for boat and water tours and the ferry. The property's beach was very nice and other beaches were also close by. I'd highly recommend this property.
