  We had the best time in Palau

  Liked: The breakfast was outstanding! everyday there was a different surprise, once it was orange juice/salmon and the coffee is amazing! the design of the hotel reminds me of Tuscany, it made our stay so much nicer. the team has also been so helpful, especially Giovanni that helped us book a sail tour and was so kind with all of our requests! Thank you Giovanni, the hotel has a private beach which is also very nice to visit.

  Fantastic location with a fantastic view out over La Maddalena - Palau is a great place to visit

  Liked: Fantastic location with a fantastic view out over La Maddalena. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The service provided was excellent. Staff were friendly. The room was clean - Whilst dated, the hotel is quite traditional and unpretentious.

  Very happy stay, lovely welcome, delicious food and incredible views towards La Maddena

  Disliked: Hard beds, hard pillows - just needs mattress toppers and at least 1 soft pillow per person

  Great location, quiet and relaxing

  Liked: The hotel was quiet and the grounds were beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Many of the staff spoke English, which was helpful. They offer a 20 minute complementary relaxing massage. We enjoyed a traditional Sardinian meal at the restaurant the first night we arrived. It was in a great location with a grocery store within walk by distance. We took the ferry from Santa Theresa to Corsica, France for a day trip and took La Maddalena archipelago Boat Tour, which is a must!

  Overall excellent especially in terms of staff but the music is very intrusive in the evenings

  Liked: Wonderful staff. From the reception, welcome, bar staff and throughout the hotel including the manager everyone is very polite, professional, friendly and excellent. Rooms are clean. Simple, as is often the way in Sardinia, but the air con was excellent. The bathrooms good and all very acceptable. Slightly dated decor but it’s not a luxury four star, for myself the accommodation is more a three star + on an international scale. Breakfasts were exceptional. A vast choice, hot, cold, fresh fruits, pastries and really an excellent breakfast, very easily a 4* breakfast and very good Italian coffee too, strong but no bitterness, if only elsewhere coffee was like they make it in Italy! I also ate one lunch at the hotel and that too was very good food and lovely service.

  Disliked: Well. I did mention to the management that the music in the evenings was very loud and unfortunately it meant that I wasn’t prepared to eat in the main restaurant due to the volume of the love singer. Perhaps some people enjoy it but I travel almost every week of the year and it is the first time in many years that I have found music so obtrusive. If the music is softened and either a better musician or some better music is chosen then the hotel could be excellent rather than just very good.

  Fabulous but sort out the shuttle service - even if you add a charge

  Liked: Lovely staff Beautiful decor and pool Lovely touches like complementary bottle of Prosecco and massage

  Disliked: Only 1 thing Free shuttle to town stops at 7 so no return after dinner possibly and no taxis It was very difficult for one of my group with walking problem

The bar is open 10:00-24:00 throughout the week.

The restaurant is open for breakfast from 07:30 to 10:00, lunch from 13:00 to 14:30, and dinner from 20:00 to 21:30.

For lunch and evening meals, the restaurant is open on request.

Room service is available, on request, at an additional cost.

Please add consider that the bathroom in the economy double type isn't renovated and the shower size is 70 cm x 70 cm.

A deposit may be required at the property.
