  Disappointing I’d recommend reading the whole review and be careful if you do choose casa Nadia

  Disliked: Very disappointing experience – would not stay again Unfortunately, our experience at Casa Nadia Perugia was extremely disappointing, particularly because of how the owner dealt with issues during and after our stay. The refrigerator was faulty and caused the food we had purchased to become warm and spoil. We contacted the owner about this during our stay, and he told us that he had already been meaning to have the fridge repaired, confirming that this was an existing problem. We had only bought a small amount of food because we were travelling on a low budget, so this was a genuine loss to us. The owner initially agreed to reimburse us for the spoiled food. However, after we left and I provided my bank details for the agreed refund, the owner then raised several accusations and costs, including rubbish removal, cleaning, replacement curtain poles and “excessive energy consumption”. We completely dispute these claims. We left our rubbish in tied bags and were never told that we had to remove our rubbish from the apartment, nor were we told where we were supposed to dispose of it. We also paid a cleaning fee and left the apartment reasonably tidy. Regarding the curtain poles, these were small pop-in/slot-in poles. One came out of its fittings when we opened the curtain normally. It was not broken or deliberately damaged — it simply needed to be popped back into its fittings. We were therefore very surprised to later be told that two curtain rods had supposedly needed replacing. The comment about our electricity usage is also particularly unfair. We paid for **7 nights at the apartment but only stayed for 5 nights because we arrived two days later than originally planned due to an unrelated problem at the beginning of our holiday. Despite this, we still paid for the full 7-night booking.

  Liked: Marco is such an excellent host and more, he was more than you could expect. The location is great with mini metro 5 mins max walk, trains similar.

  Liked: Casa Nadia is very comfortable, has all you need. Transport is just around the corner which can lead you to train station or city centre.

  Liked: Marco was really welcoming and friendly! Near train station and good big grocery store.

  Disliked: Room was quite cold in the winter. They keep heating on only 2 hours in the morning and in the evening. So most of the time it was 17 degrees. It was raining and it was difficult to get out clothes to dry. We stayed 4 nights and got only 1 roll of toilet paper and couple of coffees. Kitchen very basic no oven, microwave, electric kettle.. Only window is to a parking lot. You have to meet Marco to get the keyes. There is no self check in. This was inconvenient because our train was late and we had to sent multiple messages to Marco (but he was really flexible). Not very comfortable stay I would not stay here againg.

  Comfortable and compact place with easy access to the center. Absolutely wonderful host!

  Liked: Great bed, very nice facilities where you have everything you need, absolutely amazing host and the place is very nicely situated. You can get to the city center quite easily, there are some nice places around that host has recommended me - both for breakfast and lunch/dinner.

  Disliked: One evening I could hear neighbours very eagerly watching football match, haha. It's no problem and I think I just caught the right moment for that. But it does seem that with open windows it's a bit easy to hear other apartments
