  Liked: A truly memorable stay in a charming historic house overlooking Ragusa’s old town. The beautiful interior made our stay even more special. It’s a peaceful spot, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a holiday. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, especially the kettle and moka pot. We highly recommend this place and would happily come back!

  Bella Vista

  Liked: Absolutely beautiful location, due to its height you have a superb vista over Ibla. Bear this in mind if you have mobility issues. Good work out with the steps, no need for the gym. The accommodation comes fully equipped. The bath in the bathroom is a rare luxury for most Sicilian let's.

  Location perfect with nice views of Ragussa

  Liked: The location of the apartment was excellent. It was a little unnerving to drive to the apartment with narrow, steep, winding streets, but nice that the host met us & exchanged parking spaces in order for us to park our car.

  Disliked: It would definitely been nice to have a coffee maker the first day of our 2 night stay. We didn't end up using it as the host did not bring it until the day after our check in, when we had already gone out for the day. The restaurant suggestions given by our host were great.

  Fabulous, view from terrace alone compensates for the minor irritations

  Liked: The terrace could not be bettered, the perfect spot for views over Ragusa Ibla. There is an excellent restaurant directly opposite the property, good for light bites and/or a drink during the day and with an interesting a la carte menu during the evening. Air conditioning in the bedroom was very welcome as the nights were warm during our stay. Property has a bus stop nearby which is very handy for runs across to Ibla.

  Disliked: Frankly the bed needs to be retired. The iron frame clanks whenever you roll over, which is often because the mattress is uncomfortable (but I am knocking on a bit and need good support). Property is not suitable for older people as, aside from the exception mentioned above, the nearest other restaurant is a 15 minute walk away.

  great location. but not great for parking nor rest

  Liked: great location and views

  Disliked: very noisy, the location is so great that all the tourist walk day and night in front of the unit. at night a small wine bar opens and people flood the only stairway that leads to the lower unit. additionally their noise level is never controlled, past midnight. the metal bed was uneven and very noisy. the lower unit is damp and should have a dehumidifier all the time.
