  Liked: Silvio was a true perfect Italian Gentleman. He was extremely helpfull I couldn't have asked for more.When I told him what my arrival time at the train station was he offered to meet me there and drive me to the apartment Not only that but he also gave me a lift back to the train station when I was leaving. His personal service as a host was truly pofessional at all times and his perfect English and attention to detail in his instruction to everthing regarding the apartment was excellent. The apartment was spotless and had the most up to date cooking utensils nesscesary. The finer details to the furnishings and design were relaxing and classic plus the art work. The bed and towels five star hotel style. The area is quiet and relaxing and only five minutes down hill to the centre.

  La Scala Verde is the perfect place to explore Ragusa from. Amazing quality, cleanliness and value

  Liked: Our host was waiting for us to arrive. We were given a great tour of the apt and all its functions. The apt was beautifully redesigned and decorated with taste. Precise and organized.

  Disliked: It was one of our best ever experiences, especially based on the amazing value.

  Loved our 5 days at La Scala Verde and have no hesitation recommending booking this gem

  Liked: We loved the aesthetically pleasing interior [very tasteful] and the cleverly designed use of a small but very comfortable space. The apartment was spotless with quality equipment e.g. cooking utensils, oven and washing machine. Being able to have fresh air with doors open to a balcony was appreciated [also great for drying clothes on the rack as it had all day sun]. Antonio and his friend were super friendly and helpful. A small Despar supermarket over the road was a real bonus for us.

  Spotless and stylish apartment in Ragusa

  Liked: The apartment is stylishly decorated and very clean. The kitchen is small but everything is available to cook a good meal. Utensils that we didn't expect were also available. The hosts take a lot of care to ensure we had a good stay. The apartment is close to the city centre and a comfortable distance to visit Ragusa Ibla, though we caught the local bus on return. It is a little bit hard to find parking but doable. Ragusa is a good base to visit nearby towns Modica and Scicli. It was also a comfortable day trip to Syracuse.

  Disliked: The double bed is on the small side which may be an issue for some people.
